“Rest for several minutes, do some neck stretching every 45 minutes of work.” I often tell my client after fix their neck pain. But I also fully understand that when they focus in their work, they could not remember this suggestion.
Therefore, half a year ago, after almost four hours of playing in front of my computer, I felt tightness on the back of my neck. I told myself “just go to bed, next morning everything will be OK”. As you know, the next morning the neck was still not OK. I did not fell a lot of pain, it was just tightness. During the day, I just felt discomfort. At night, I could not find a right position to fall in sleep. I used good pillows. I used my special small buckwheat husks pillow. I still had to toss around for pretty long to fall in asleep.
When it got worse, it became pain. I asked my colleague do acupuncture for me. I even do acupuncture for myself. It did help the pain, but the tightness was still there.
Then I found out that normal stretching can not help me. No matter how hard I stretch how strong I massage myself I can not reach that tight part.
I realized that I have to have a new way to stretch, otherwise I will suffer forever. I thought about martial art. I made it. I fall asleep in five minutes right after the first day of exercise,
I taught this exercise to my client, and they find the result is amazing. If you come to my clinic, do not forget to ask me the secret of this neck exercise.
Mr. V is my friend. In January, he told me that he felt numbness on his fingers of right hand. Then I run a physical examination for his hand.
When I tap on the palm side of his right wrist, he begins complaining some electrics’ shock feeling on his index, middle and ring fingers. Then I ask him to bend forward his wrist and press it, He felt a lot of pain on his hand.
This indicated he got Carpel tunnel syndrome.
He has heard of this problem: “I need to go for physiotherapy then.”
“No need.” I told him “Why don’t we try one session of acupuncture?”
“Only one session?” He is a little bit surprise.
“You just get this problem and the symptom is not very serious. Maybe before you get the appointment with your doctor, you will have already been cured.”
Several days later he called me “That’s amazing.” He said “the problem’s all gone.”
“Maybe you should adjust your keyboard to ensure you will not get the problem again.” I suggested.
After you drink a glass of water, physically or visibly the water get absorbed, and get into the circulation, eventually it end up in the bladder, and get out of your body. It seemed that everything is just free.
But what happened in the energy level? Anything invisible happened?
First thing is common sense. If the water is below your body temperature, it has to be heated to be your body temperature.
Second, if you want to absorb anything in your stomach, you need to recognize it as part of your own body. How? Put your energy into the water. Then the water become the water alive. Water in your body without energy, we call it dead water.
Third: circulation. The yang energy in the kidney, act as a stove. It make the water into steam like shape, and drive it go up alone the back until it reach the top of the head. At there, with the help of a little bit cold air from outside, the steam like shaped water goes back to water shape, and begin nourish the whole body.
At the end, the water comes to the bladder. But the story can not finish there. Do you still remember you put energy in the water at first place? Your body will remove the energy from the water. Then your body will recognize that there is dead water in the bladder, which does not belong to the body. At that time, you will feel like go to the washroom.
After all of these explanations, do you still think everything is free? Do you still want to drink large amount of unnecessary water?
Everybody tells you “When peolple reach their 50′s,they need to take calcium supplement to prevent osteoporosis.” But is that claim right? Let me ask you several questions.
